PNG visa in Jayapura

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Papua New Guinea

The PNG consulate is now on Jl. Argapura - 2 or 3 miles east of city centre, take a green 1,2,3 or 4 bemo,Rp2,500.
It's open 8 - 12 & 1 - 3 or 4 Mon - Thurs. &,generally,some hours on Fri.
60 day visa costs Rp225,000 & takes 2 - 5 working days.
You MUST have an onward ticket.

Just be prepared that the whole process may be entirely different when you get there, for no obvious reason - this consulate is truly unpredictable.

Also, getting a visa is harder if you come from a country they either don't like the sound of, or simply have not heard of - mine was in the latter category the last time!
