port moresby hostel

Hello all!
I'm trying to get to Port Moresby for New Years and having a tough time finding accommodation on a budget. I did find a place called Mapang Missionary Home, but it seems pretty far and might even require a flight. Any help on how to find housing in Port Moresby?

I heared from the Jane Wyatt house in the Boroko part of the town, its owned by the Country woman ascociation, we stayed in Madang in the same place, price was 160 Kina for a douple room, and we met an australien he stayed there alone, payed 80 Kina in a douple room, but you do not know, if somebody come inside
