we are heading to PNG in a few days, and still did not manage to organize an individual excursion on the sepik river for a budget price.We are now looking for someone who is interested to join us on the trip on the river (Sept. 4-10), we will be in Port Moresby on Aug.23, just one night, and again on Sept.1 for another night.
2 guys from Europe.It will come out much cheaper to share the main expenses like gazoline, guides, rental of boats etc.

How wonderful that you are already in PNG. We wished that we could answer you as the people that could make you company on this fantastic journey BUT we can not. Aa a matter of fact we are planning a trip to PNG, and east Sepik region for the next year.
We would appreciate any tips from you regarding how to get to PNG from Europe, local transport, accomodation etc. Please tell us how you made this trip possible to such a country.

Hi Thomas,

we are going to PNG in about a week or 10 and after POM we will fly to Goroko, spend few days around there before making our way up to Sepik river region. I cant say exactly when we gonna be there but we can keep in touch and if we happen to be there at the same time, we can go on a tour together if both parties are interested. BTW we are a couple from Czech Rep.

We fly into Port.M on the 25thAug.
If all goes according to plan, 3 friends and myself will be arriving in Wewak on Mon-Tue Sept 17th-18th.
We are planning to arrange a budget trip ourselves down the river from Ambunti to Angoram.
I dont know how big the boats are, but if there is enough room and you want to combine expenses let me know.
We are 4 Aussie lads with 5 weeks and a rough itinerary, so give a day here or there for the dates above.

just returned fm there. had a wonderful warm hearted trip with cyril tara who arranged for us the sepik river trip' accomodated us in his village caminabeach and showed us the secrets of the crocodile men.
