Sepik River trip

We are a portuguese couple and we travelled with a guide called Joseph Kone in Papua New Guinea (PNG) on November 2019. We had a great time, and we did an epic journey with him, starting from Vanimo, near the border with Papua Indonesia, then to Green River, and down the Sepik River, both Upper and Middle Sepik, all the way to Pagwi. In a couple of nights, we also stayed with Joseph’s family, in Ambunti, and we were welcome like in our home.

We know that Joseph has had some troubles in the past, because an old associate used his email and grabbed some money from tourists and in the end the blame was put on Joseph, damaging his reputation. We can assure that Joseph is a great guide, with solid knowledge of the Sepik river, and that he is working to recover his good name.
To avoid any misunderstandings, Joseph is using a new email now: josephkone.sepikguide@gmail.com.

2 option:
1- it’s not the real Joseph but one of his son’s (send me his picture and I will tell you) because Joseph is still in jail
2- Joseph paid his way out of jail instead of returning me 50000 kina.
No one who stole 50000 kina from a tourist who not only trusted him but also helped him for 2.5 years by managing his Facebook page and sending him clients.
So if you really want to be honest please take off this post. I am the one who knows Joseph so well. I am the one whom Joseph stole 50000 kina from him and never got any apologies or any of the money back and I am the one who had to escape from Ambunti on a canoe at 03:00am before Joseph will understand i I am on his fraud.
BTW when the police arrested him i discovered many other victims of his diverse scams.
Be careful of this guy and his family who cooperated with him.
