There is the flight from Manila to KK in Malaysian Borneo with Air Asia which cheap. You could do Borneo (Malaysia and Indo) and make your way using Pelni in Indo and eventually get to Papua and go overland from Papua (Indo) to PNG. You would could do Indo variety of ways I think. Check out the Pelni site that someone made which is in Indo branch that tells about routes and timetables. Figure out where you want to see and just have to eventually make way to Jayapura. this would take long time as Laszlo said though and if want to travel in Indo maybe best to get two month visa in home country or could try in Manila. Other option would be doing flight from Davao to Sulawesi and then boat from here to Jayapura (Papua) and then overland to PNG. I have never done this but from what I have read I think it would be possible although take awhile | 4 | |
