TRAVELERS CHECKS

Would appreciate any feedback on being able to cash American Express travelers checks in Port Moresby.

bob,should have no troubles with travs cheqs...although i have not used them for many years due to the growing network of atm machines,they will charge you a fee to cash....it used to be 10 kina,but not sure these years,the banks are jam packed with people,maybe ask to go to their "international" section for quicker service,they will ask for your passport to clarify.some asian countrys no longer want anything to do with travs cheqs(fraud)!!
