Weekend trip from Port Moresby

HI! I'm planning to visit friends in Port Moresby in October and was wondering whether anyone on here may suggest a weekend trip from Port Moresby that is economical but at the same time very cultural. I am a certified PADI scuba diver as well.

Fisherman Island (accessible by banana boat - ask the hotel or at the Yacht Club if they can arrange a trip and make sure you have a life jacket - the water is pretty choppy at this time of the year)
