Wewak Accommodation and Activities

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Papua New Guinea

Hi all,

I'm heading over to Wewak for a conference in August/September this year. Does anyone have any ideas for daytrips, things one really should see and accommodation ideas? Really looking for budget to try and keep the price down.

Cheers,

Jonathan

couple of options for accom/warihe guest house on wewak hill has single rooms from 80kina/the air con rooms at 150kina..in wewak boutique hotel have single rooms(budget)with fans at 200kina also on top of hill.the humidity is a killer in wewak in sept.depends on what level you want to sleep in some comfort?

if you have time trips include cape wom memorial/muschu island(nice new guest house there called clements),30 kina per nite, breakfast is 15kina,mobile contak is 72793107
