wewak information

Anybody know of a good place to stay in Wewak? Do the PMVs go to Pagwi every day?

to answer both qs....pom is very expensive,and "cheap'"places can be nasty.....if your only staying as part of transit,maybe try the shady rest motel,or boroka lodge or gateway apartments,
as for wewak,your best bet is budget room at the "in wewak boutique hotel,but book to avoid no rooms available
as for pagwi bus ,yes they go usually late nites...10pm from wewak except on saturday and sundays.

If you are on budget give the "Wewak Guesthouse" a try. It isn't that bad what is described in the LP. Yes, it is reasonable clean and more plus: friendly and helpful staff, hot water for coffee, places to drink it and a night market for cheap dinner opposite the street. For 50 Kina/person (june 2014) hard to beat.

P.S.: had the LP author a personal problem with Ms. Barry?
