Worth travelling to Alotau?

Hi again,

I am considering to travel to Alotau before flying to Lae and visiting Highlands and the Sepik...is it worth to spend about four days in this area or not much to do besides diving?

Also, how is Topura and the North Coast? By what I have read, you can go there by PMV from Alotau.
