New ferry service to Pitcairn Island

Starting in Okt. 2009, there is now a regulary ferry service to Pitcairn. The ferry starts every 3 month from Mangareva in French Polynesia (1-2 times a week by airplane). The ferry stopps for 3 nights/2 days on the island before it moves back. You can stay with a tourist permit by arrival this 2 days on the island. If you like to stay for 3 month, until the next ferry, you need an extra permit/visa. The trip is 4000 USD return trip including all meals and the 3 nights accomodation on the island.
