Anyone stayed at Sa'Moana?

Hi all,
I was thinking of staying at Sa'Moana Resort for a few days and wanted to do a bit of surfing. Has anyone been there who could give me an opinion on the surf trips and the accomodation?

went there some time back and it was great, good food and accommodation - bit scary surf but those being taken out beyond the reef appeared to have a blast!

Scary's probably ok for me, so we might book for a few days there then look for something cheaper. Did you stay anywhere else you could recommend?

didnt stay but was inside and outside - what can i say good beach (not amazing) whith good surfs... run by australian and his samoan wife (i think). Despite the name its got nothing to do with traditional and real Samoan way of life. Not overrun by tourists. Only few australians or kiwis visit this place. btw samoan staff is underpaid - shame on management
