Car Rental

Hi! I will be in Samoa for 1 week early October. Do you think it is worth renting a car, or would public transportation be OK?

Definitely worth it, as buses are centred on the main towns on both islands, and especially on Upolu they don't really connect the various regions well unless you backtrack to Apia.
A car could save a lot of time/backtracking.

Rent. It gives you so much more freedom. The bus service is great, but slow and you have to back track frequently.
