diving in samoa ?

hello could someone please give me some advice on taking diving courses somewhere on the islands

Taufua Beach fales offered diving courses and certification on Upolu and on Savaii Dive Savaii offers diving and snorkeling in a more comercial way it seems. http://www.divesavaii.com/index.html

hi go to savaii, near manesse , is le lagoto resort, across the road is a padi dive centre, dive savaii. my boys and my husband all had a dive and they were great. a french guy and his wife run it. enjoy! you won't be disapaonited. i think the dive place that used to be allocted at lalamono beach has moved to the new aggies, i haven't heard anything about this place, so can't recommend either way.

sorry to disagree, but i think you are getting some bad advice. going to savaii is a mistake for diving. it is a great island to see the sites, but for diving there is only one place in the entire country that has true professional instructors, first rates facilities and the best knowledge about the world class sites of samoa, and that is AQUASAMOA SCUBA AND WATER SPORTS. look at their site: www.aquasamoa.com

they have everything, and a much better staff than dive savaii. dive savaii is very limited in what they can do, and where they can go. do the research and you will clearly see the difference. also, there is a dive report from a new zealand couple who just returned from samoa, at the top of this thread. check it out. that says it all. good luck.
