do we carry cash or is Visa accepted most places?

Should we bring a wad of cash with us or just use our credit cards? do most places accept credit? how much cash should we take we are in Samoa for 10 days.

What do you mean by "most places"? If you are talking high end restaurants and hotels, then yes, they take cards. If you are talking most of the POPULAR beach fale, then yes, they take cards. If you are talking about some of the smaller beach fales, then no, you will have to use cash.

I have no idea... I don't know what your budget is or how much you will be spending. There are ATMs and banks in Apia, ATM at the airport and one on Savaii in Salelolonga.

as islandboi said less commercial fale accomodation accepts only cash and whats more there are only 3 places in the whole Samoa where are banks or ATMs - Apia, the airport and Saleologa on Savai'i.
I kept always around 300-600 Tala in my wallet and when I was gonna to run out of cash i just simply got to one of the places to load up.
