wow. What is the world coming to?

According to the Newcastle Herald (Australia this mornign, samoa has had its first armed robbery.

That is what they call globalization.

I could think of a Pacific island nation or two where this would hardly even make news any more.

That is certainly true even though those nations will most likely be a bit bigger than small Samoa. Where at least somebody will know and certainly talk about it. So it is no real surprise that these guys are already caught and charged by now.

Reminds me of an assault/robbery @ a resort on Kadavu in southern Fiji years ago-after beating up the owner and robbing the place the thugs jumped into their boat and headed back to their home island-which is within plain sight of Kadavu!

Police arrested them later the same day.

had to go round all the pubs to find them first.

Why did it take the Police an hour to arrive at the crime scene?

Does it only take 1 hour to do a pub-crawl in Samoa?
