fishing samoa

can anyone give me info on fishing samoa??
i will take down my own fishing equipment and wonder if it may be difficult to hire a local to take me out??
also can i fish from the beach there??

You would have to get permission from the local chief and probably pay to fish from any beach as the beaches are all privately owned.

I agree with smandkjc you would have to ask the locals who own the beach and probable make a small payment. When I was there I only saw a few boats that the resorts owned, namely coconuts and sinalei resorts in siumu.
