Be careful with the links on #3. Search engines do not necessarily provide useful answers. Eteline's is alright - but so would be Tatiana's at Tanugamanono and many other budget accommodations in and around Apia. The second link goes to Coconutbeachresort (rates >US$250 - per night, not per month), one of the most expensive beach resort in Samoa and to call that homestay would really be a joke. The third link is about homestay in American Samoa, which you most likely do not have in mind.
