manumea resort

hi we are planning our 4th trip to samoa this sept and i have seen pictures of the new resort up near the RLS site in valima, 5 mins out of apia. has anyone stayed there and if so what di you think ? we normally stay at aggies when we are in town but this place looked nice and similar prices.

I live in Apia and this is where I choose to send our overseas guests. It is a lovelly resort, small - only 12 rooms and a small swimming pool. The rooms have small kitchenettes and awesome open air bathrooms. The food the resort cooks is very nice, they are only new so still streamlining some check in and out procedures but like anything in Samoa bring along your patience and you will be fine. As far as value for money - I believe this to be the best in Apia ! Highly recommended !

It is a little way out of town, just down from Robert Louis but probably only about WST 6-8 in a taxi.

hi , we ended up staying at maumea resort and LOVED it!!! it's fantastic, the staff and hosts luna and norman are very friendly , the rooms are very sapcious and big beds , nice white linen and the bathroom is amazing, very unique, and outside ( totally private) shower, this is now our favourite place it's amazing. and great value, breaky in the morning, nice pool.
re the check in, well we arrived at 0300 am and just taken to our rooms and in the mornnig we did the paperwork for the check in, perfect!
can't wait to return.
