Samoa - camping gas cylinders

alright,

planning on doing some hiking in samoa. taking most of my gear with me but wanted to know if screw top gas cylinders for portable camping stoves are available in apia? if so any idea of approx cost?

Camping is completely uncommon in Samoa so I have some doubts. But the two respective service providers should be able to give you proper information:

Most land is owned by villages and they have loads of fales which are great for sleeping in - byo mosquito net if arriving unannounced. But would worry that you wouldn't be allowed to camp - unless you have this pre-arranged. it's very hot and humid and the seasons are quite different this year - wet and dry mixed in a bit more so be prepared for rain. I spent 4 weeks in Samoa and American samoa and didn't once see a campsite or any camping....good luck
