samoa to edinburgh via LA....

hey everyone,

I am going to Scotland in June, leaving NZ via Samoa for two weeks. Unfortunately going via LA - have to stay there for one night becuase of flight times. This is not ideal but i really wanna go back to Samoa. My question is, how much is a visa for this entry. Ive been on the american gov website and read the lonely planet info but Im still completely confused.

Call the closest US Consulate. I'm not sure you even have to pay for a visitor visa.

2. How do you expect help if you don't state your nationality ("0 nada zilch" is probably correct)?

3. you certainly do not HAVE to stay in L.A. overnight! You'll arrive LAX 1:40 PM so trying to catch the 3:40 British Airways flight may be risky but you could have a perfect connection with Air New Zealand departing to LHR 4:30 PM and there's another 5 planes later that day...
