The road to Akoi Beach Fales, Fagaloa Bay

We have booked a nights accommodation in Akoi's Beach Fales in Fagaloa Bay, but are now concerned as to wether we will make it. We are travelling in a toyota hi ace, and are unsure if it will be suitable for the road conditions, as
a) google maps doesn't show the road,
b) Jason's map show it as a gravel road,
c) and lonely planet advise it is suitable for four wheel drive only.

Has anyone been there? how does it compare to other roads in Samoa we have driven on some fairly bumpy tracks in Savaii for a short distance (or gravel roads in nzed high country?)
Is it difficult in patches - hopefully after the village we are staying in?
