walking in Samoa

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Samoa

I will be revisiting samoa in July & August this year (2014) and have decided to walk between Fale accommodation .
I am 50 something and would be happy to have some company along the way, so anyone who plans to be in Samoa during that time and likes walking ( about 2hours in the morning but other side trips available in most places for the more energetic) and is happy staying at budget accommodation ( expected expenses about $50 US per day)get in touch. Each walk will be about 4 or 5 days with a few days in one place after each walk.
It will be mainly coastal walking with time for swimming and snorkelling in the afternoon, a lot of it will be on the road, but there is not a lot of traffic and the speed limit is quite low
I am posting here rather than travel buddies because I imagine there are few people travelling to samoa at that time ( well any time really...)
feel free to ask any questions if this appeals - if all goes well I will probably do the same type of thing next year somewhere in the pacific,- I try to avoid NZ winters and I enjoy walking, swimming etc , so anyone interested but unable to plan for this year could maybe keep it in mind for the future....
