Weather conditions and best travel time

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Samoa

Dear travelers,
Has anybody been in September or October in Samoa, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Kiribati or Nauru and knows when which month will be better? Which month are more sunny days?
It's very important to know asap.
Thanks so much for any advice;)

You should have a look at www.wunderground.com - this weather site can give you historial weather facts going back quite a few years. I am not sure if all the places you are interested in will be covered in detail but you should be able to get an idea of what the weather was like for the past few years. No guarantee the weather will be the same but you should be able to get an idea of the weather pattern for the months you are interested in.

September can be quite nice in Samoa, the end of winter when the weather is cooler, it's coming in to the warmer wetter season but there is often really nice settled weather in August & September - It will start to get hotter as you get in to October .

2

September in Solomon Islands is characterized by essentially constant daily high temperatures, with daily highs around 31°C throughout the month, exceeding 32°C or dropping below 29°C only one day in ten. And the capital, Honiara, has a tropical rain forest climate with no dry season, however September is one of the drier months of the year.
