What is the best airline to fly from Brisbane to Honiara?

It kind of depends on your luck (and on how far in advance you book) but Virgin Blue should definitely be worth a look.
A random search for June produced a fare of A$299 OW.

Solomon Airlines are now taking internet bookings - they started just after I returned this time. They are at times challenging Pacific Blue with cheap fares, but I haven't been able to get them to quote cheap fares on the internet. However, now that they have taken up the challenge to do internet bookings, who knows?
I did Brisbane Honiara return for less than $500 AUD on Pacific Blue in April.
A friend managed an even cheaper fare, booking Honiara Brisbane return.
If you have plenty of time, there was a cheap round trip fare on Air Pacific via Suva, but since the advent of Pacific Blue, it may not be so cheap.

SkyAirWorld was a flash in the pan, and has been killed off by a combinaton of the recession and Pacific Blue.
