| BruceFraser19:48 UTC17 May 2019 | Can anyone supply phone or email of ferry operator Honiara to and from Isabel? Or direct me to a booking site? Or if booking is walk-up only, directions to the ticket office and dates of departures? Thanks, Bruce

For all other provinces, you had to go to the harbour and keep asking around until a boat went that way. It could be days, or weeks. I guess for Isabel it shouldn't be weeks.
I doubt things have changed.

| faisi21:53 UTC23 May 2019 | The best shippingline to Isabel Island is Isabel Development Shipping (I.D.C.). This company is for a long time operating combined cargo/passenger ships between Honiara and Isabel Island. They operate 4-5 different such ships, remember one is called Isabella, another Onogu etc. Believe they don't have an website or a booking platform. There base in Honiara is: Go down the Commonwealth Avenue towards the habour, before you reach the domestique harbour turn right. The first building is a marine office, then are coming altogether 4 different warehouses/offices in one building. Think the first one is IDC, I know for sure third is Franji Shipping. Have been in in Febr. 2019 in IDC office/warehouse as I sent with them some batteries as cargo to Temotu Province. Inside the warehouse/office of IDC on the right side on a noticeboard there is usually a printed monthly schedule for their ships on display. I do have here a Solomon Telephone Directory 2017. On page 328 in the Yellow Page section there is an advertising of IDC. I quote from this advertising: Isabel Development Company Limited, Trading as I.D.C. Shipping, PO Box 93, Honiara, Solomon Islands, Ph: 22122, 22126, Ext. 207, 208. Mobiles: 747 8307, 748 3384. If you try to call from outside Solomon Islands, the country code is: +677 Good Luck
