Flight Advice Requested - SE Asia to Solomon Islands

Hello

Can anyone please advise how I can travel from Malaysia / indonesia / PNG to the Solomon Islands

This is a broad enquiry as im open to suggestions....

From SE Asia, the cheapest way would have to be flying via Australia.

From PNG, you can fly directly to Honiara, or consider the much cheaper option of crossing (semi-illegally!) by sea from Bougainvile.

Check Solomon Airlines for comprehensive fares between various places and Honiara. However, there have been one and two week specials which seem to be only available from travel agents (depends on how long you want to stay in Solomon Islands).
It looks like they still have 5 flights a week out of Brisbane, but the days have changed.
