Surf trip

Hey guys,

We are trying to plan a surfing trip to the Solomon Islands in Nov and we were thinking of staying at either the Maravagi Island resort or the Papatura Island Retreat. Any suggestions on which one will be more practical for a bunch of lads who just want to surf good waves and also have time to chill out and go snorkeling???

Maravagi is great for snorkelling, but the food is expensive, and I am not sure where the surf is. I haven't heard of Papatura.
What is your time frame, and what level of accommodation are you looking for?
