Tavanipupu Private Island Resort in Marau?

Hello, I am glad I found this forum. My mom and I will be traveling from the US to Honiara in mid July. While we are there, we'd like to have a weekend trip to another island. Has anyone stayed at the Tavanipupu Private Island Resort in Marau? From the pictures I've seen and the feedback from people, I think this would be a great place. We're just looking for a place where we can relax, enjoy swimming in the clear water and possibly go snorkeling during the weekend-- nothing much, just a calm and relaxing time. Also, would you recommend we purchase our plane tickets in advance or can we purchase them when we get to Honiara? When we arrive at the Marau Airport, is there transportation that will take us to the resort?
