Travel Nughu Resort to Auki

Hi there all!

My husband and I are in Honiara having a rip-roaring time staying with my uncle. He is taking us (along with a couple of his friends) to Nughu resort on the Floridas for the weekend (Leaving Fri or Sat if this rain doesn't clear up beforehand), until Monday morning.

We (2 people) have booked to stay at Serah's Lagoon Hideaway (Malaita) from Monday night.

Can anyone let me know the best way for us to get to Auki on Monday morning. Is it possible to go directly from Nughu to Auki, or do we somehow get to Tulagi and go from there, or do we need to to go back to Honiara to get the boat to Auki?

Any help would be much appreciated! I have trawled the net and searched this forum (quite a lot in the lead up to our trip!) but haven't found any relevant info in this matter. If there is a post that addresses this question, many apologies and please direct me to the link!

Are you back in Honiara now? If so, what is the situation like right now? Hope you remain safe and dry.

Sorry I haven't been here recently. It is possible to get to Auki from Tulagi on 360 Discovery on some days, but it doesn't always stop there. Best to check and book before leaving Honiara. Otherwise, you have to go back to Honiara for other ships or planes. 360 Discovery makes a return Honiara -Auki trip every day.
