Travellers Motel

Lazslo,
Do you have an address for the Travellers Motel,& how much is a bed/room?
Thanks
John

Have no full postal address, but it was easy to locate it in the "Fijian Quarter" (at the foot of the hills between the town centre and Chinatown) - really, any taxi driver should be able to take you there.
It cost 20 USD (in Sol dollars) for a room when I was there.
Ozziegiraffe might be able to get someone to track you down full contact address, and more current rates.

Thanks

Travellers motel is up a lane opposite the national library, but it's a bit grotty.
Chesters is much better & closer to Honiara city centre,it's got a great balcony, satellite TV in the lounge, clean rooms & bathrooms.United church is also OK.
All 3 charge S$200 for a room with 2 or 3 beds.So it's a bit dear if you're on your own.

Unfortunately both Chesters and United seemed permanently full during my visit, while Travellers tended to have rooms (with 1 bed, too).

It is allways a good idea to book Chester in advance, as they are very popular with locals. If anyone wants their email address, send me a PM.
