Accomodation in Moorea/Bora BoraCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Tahiti & French Polynesia
Hi All | ||
Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful islands in the world, but also one of the msot expesnive for what you get. Moorea is still beautiful, and more reasonably-priced, larger range of chocies as well. On bora Bora it's mainly the lagoon, on Moorea you have some lagoon, but high mountains as well, so a bit more choice in activities. | 1

Read up on Tahiti Explorer, lots of folks there have stayed at OWBs. | 4
I was at the Intercontinental Moorea which was GREAT! We had a beach bunglalow which is my opinion is a better value that an overwater bungalow. Some of them are really half in the water, plus they are basically around water vs our beach bungalow which had a stretch of sand right in front of it (kind of like a private stretch vs walk around to find a spot)...Know that tahiti doesn;t actually have sand beaches...the beaches are man made and kind of like tiny rock(rougher than sand) so bring swimming sandals :) Have fun! | 5
Have you considered a yacht charter? | 6
