Accomodation Tahiti and Moorea

Hi Travellers, I am planning a few days in Tahiti and Moorea from June 15 to June 19 and would love some suggestions for camping as I am finding accomodation expensive and the budget ones have no vacancies. I am on a budget and am happy to camp with my own tent etc. Is there anyone travelling alone and would like to hook up for a few days?

I am arriving approx 8.30 pm in the evening. Are there any suggestions for accomodation for the first night at least?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

it is a hike to get there, but we spent a night in a rustic cabin half way up mt ari. Great views from the side of the mountain. Basic hiking that took about 3hrs if I remember correctly. It was also cold, so bring a sleeping bag.
