Bicycle Rental in Papete

Hi!

I am planning a solo trip to Tahiti over Christmas and was trying to find out how to rent/reserve a bicycle for my stay. Does anyone have experience with or recommendations for places to rent bikes?

Hi Jane,

during my visit in April 2011 I had a hard time finding any bicycle rental in Papeete. After asking the tourist info, a bicycle shop / repair and a couple of locals I finally gave up. Much better luck on Moorea, even though none where the ferry boat arrives... but take the bus to the other side of the island. Near camping "chez Nelson" you wont miss it. They are a bit concerned about their bikes so not sure if they will let you take it to a different island.
