Carrefour Location Near Radisson Hotel?Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Tahiti & French Polynesia
I know that there is a Carrefour store near the Intercontinental Hotel but I think there is one near the Radisson Hotel which is located in the complete opposite direction. Can someone confirm this location and its proximate distance from the Radisson. Thanks.
Someone on Tahiti Explorer might know. | 1
Wow, silvanocat, you knew that the OP was talking about Tahiti! I read all the islands and never know which one is meant when the name is missing. | 2

The original Carrefour, which I assume is still there, is a few miles west of town, a mile or two west of the airport, I think. When it first opened many years ago, it was like an oasis for tourists like me who wanted a good deli! Oh, we could also buy a new lawnmower if we wanted! All my local friends were amazed at the variety in the food supermarket. | 4

Beachcomber---Not really sure, it's been a while since I've been in that area. There are pretty good maps one can find on the internet, you'll have to zero in on the exact locations and distances. But if the Carrefour has a large market, there would probably be a deli dept. But if you head into downtown PPT, you can find lots of shops that sell bread, cheese, and so on. I'm not sure how long you'll be on the island, but you will rpobably want to go to downtown at some point, I'd do it early in the trip. | 6
There's a Carrefour in Arue in the east and in Moana south of the airport. | 7
