Day trip to Maupiti

Hello... I have been to Maupiti before but only by air and want to go back.

Is it possible to do a day trip from Bora Bora on a boat leaving in the morning and returning the same evening? I have heard that the boat sometimes gets stuck. I will be there in June and I will be flying on an airpass but cannot squeeze Maupiti in because of the time.

this is not a good idea because the boat doesnt stay long there, it goes back pretty soon after arrival
