Dengue in French Polynesia?

USA today had an article last week saying that Dengue fever has been reported in F.P. We're considering a trip there in January, but my wife is pregnant, and Dengue is a real problem for the baby.

So Does anyone know about this? has there been a large or small amount of cases? And which islands have had incidents?

I googled about a bit for you,. My take-worth the price you are paying me!- is that, yes there has been some reported over the years, but far less than most pacific island groups as near as I can tell. On a personal level I haven't come across it in 3 or 4 trips there, nor have I met anyone who had contracted it in the last 10 years. Before that apparently it was more common.
