Ferry or Air

Hi there,

So my partner and I are planning a little adventuring. One of our stops leaves us in Tahiti/FP for four or five days. We were hoping to head out to Huahine from Tahiti.

I'm having a little difficulty finding information on ferries from Papeete to Huahine. Does anyone know if the ferry is still in existence or should I just go for the flight? Also if anyone has a place for lodging they are dying to talk about, I'm dying to here about it!

When I was there last November there was a new ferry service that was going to start up in a few weeks. It was the same company that had the ferry to Moorea. ..hopefully it is still going for you.

Hi,

I was just there a couple of weeks ago...and I saw no ferry. I flew. BTW beware, Ait Tahiti baggage allowance is now just 10kg per person....
