HI... i am thinking about doing exactly the same thing you are doing: visit the islands. I don't really have a defined, non-flexible route right now. I'm still trying to find more info on the web so finding you is .... GREAT! I am thinking about doing some backpacking. Where have you been exactly? Is the journey being very expensive? How easy is it to move around? Do you think it's safe? Thank you and i'm sure you'll appreciate Easter Island! My God...it must wonderful! and grandious :) Congrats :) | 2
It's not a ferry, but if you're really determined to go by ship... | 3
Guys, I have just done this.....by air....note that it's about 3000km ..not a ferry ride I'm afraid. FP is stunningly expensive and expensive to get around. Only really Air THiti flights (with 10kg baggage allowance) other than the ferry to Moorea. You will need LAN Chile flight to Easter Island and then onto Santiago. | 4
