Gospel Day, March 5th

I will be arriving late on March 4th to Papeete to begin my honeymoon. I am currently planning on taking the 4pm ferry to Moorea on March 5, which is Gospel Day. Has anybody been here for Gospel Day? I am imagining the market will be closed. Will there be activities in the capital? Thanks for your help.
