Hike - Moorea or Bora Bora

We are planning our 15th anniversary trip for August 2018.
We'll be staying in Rangiroa, Moorea, Bora Bora & Tahiti.

Which island would you recommend doing a hike on? We're used to hiking on our own in Hawaii using tour books to tell us where to go. I understand the trails in French Polynesia aren't well marked so a guide is recommended. We aren't really interested in history hikes but ones were we climb to breathtaking views, swim in waterfalls, etc.
