How much can I do in 3 days during November?

I land in Papeete, would it still be worth it to go on a boat trip to another island?
Im on a backpackers budget so where should I go?

Take a day at least to go to Moorea on the ferry. You could stay there for a night if you want. There are ferries going back and forth during the day leaving from the sea front in central Papaete..Nelson Camping on Moorea is very nice for a person on a packpackers budget....you can share a small cabin room there.... There is a bus that takes you there from the ferry.

I went to Moorea for the majority of my time in Tahiti and absolutely loved it. It is much smaller then Tahiti although it would be a shame if you couldn't at least squeeze an extra day in. One word of advice is that Tahiti in general is really expensive so don't expect you backpacker budget to stretch as far as it would in some places. It is well worth the visit though! :)

Dont leave Tahiti,
I have seen almost 20 islands of French Polynesia and Tahiti is not that bad!
