how windy is vaitape in december?

Hello,

I am looking at a spot in Vaitape (Bora Bora) in December.
I've heard that this is the windy part of the island.
Can anyone provide some insight? Does this mean breeze or gusty wind?
Any details about the weather here in December is appreciated!

Well, it all depends on the weather really :-)

I was just in vaitape in late May this year and it was very wet and very windy. The weather also seemed to be able to change really quickly,,,one minute sunny, the next pouring down.

I suspect it could be very windy in December...I suggest you check on the long range weather forecast before you go...
