| kiwi7507:02 UTC27 Jan 2007 | Hello there Many thanks to anyone who replies and I apologise if this is a bit vague! We're arriving in PPT at the end of February for one week. We plan to head over to Moorea and are looking at staying at the Hibiscus Hotel (mainly for the pool) and doing a few dives with Bathys. If anyone has any opinions or comments on either of these, or if we are overlooking somewhere else, it would be greatly appreciated. We were thinking of staying there 3ish nights but are procrastinating over what to do with the balance of the week. Preference would be given to somewhere less touristy, natural beauty/diversity, unique experiences, good food. Is it worth the added expense heading to the Tuamotus (Rangiroa or Fakarava, or somewhere else?) if it's just for a couple of nights or are we best to seek out another Society Island. I appreciate that if we want to get a bit off the beaten track it will be dictated by available flights due to our limited time but any ideas would be great. Thanks again, cheers!

A Tahitian woman(from Bora Bora) that I've met and lives in France goes back to Moorea each year and stay at the Hibiscus and is very pleased with it....The intercontinental is paradise but it is a bit expensive..Have fun!
