| hawksbill00:19 UTC05 Sep 2007 | About three weeks ago, I was in Tahiti, and I played a ukulele at a music store in Papeete. It was from the Marquesas, and it looked and sounded quite beautiful. I've been in contact with the store owner, and it doesn't look like I'll be able to arrange for him to send it to me.
So I was thinking: maybe there's somebody from this board who would be able to pick up this ukulele in Tahiti, and bring it to the US. I could meet you here in the US to get it from you. I would give my credit card number directly to the store, so you would not have to deal with any money. All you would have to do is visit this music store, pick up the ukulele, and bring it back to the United States safely.
I live in Washington, DC, and I occasionally go to San Francisco and Los Angeles to visit family. I'm also planning trips to Philadelphia, North Carolina, Chicago, and New York this fall. So this plan could work out if you live in any of these locations. If you think you can do this, please send me an e-mail, and we'll try to make the arrangements. My e-mail address is hawksbill8@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I've sent you an email. I'll be going to Tahiti in November and would be glad to bring back your ukelele if no one else has yet done it...
