No. Chez Nelson is on the opposite side of the island. I'm guessing a half hour. Post your question on the Tahiti Explorer forum for a more accurate answer. | 1
I think we'll be staying at the Sunset beach hotel in Raiatea and the Fare Maeva in Moorea, any comments about these places would be greatly appreciated | 2
We stayed at the Sunset Beach last August and were very pleased with our choice. They picked us up at the airport and stopped at a store along the way so we could buy supplies. Cold coconut drinks were waiting in the refrigerator and flowers were in abundance. We had a large one bedroom with small kitchenette area that was clean and well maintained. We were steps from a small beach area with a long dock that was great for sunsets. The staff at the office helped with booking tours and a car. They also had bikes for rent(pricey). We would highly reccommend it and Raiatea. We were impressed with the beauty of the island. | 3
Silvanocat is correct: the drive from Chez Nelson to Vaiare is about 30-40 minutes, depending on time of day and traffic to/from the ferry. You could take le truck from Le Petit Village, but it only runs according to the ferry schedule. | 4

You can check the price for accommodations only in the Moorea Island here : Moorea Island , the price that I saw is starting from 172 USD per room per night. It is great price actually because there are only a few resorts in that incredible destination. | 7
