Papeete, Tahiti to Easter Island, Chile

I am trying to figure out how to fly from Tahiti to Easter Island. I understand that LAN Chile is the airline to do this with, however the LAN website, and other information I was able to find so far, does not seem clear about Papeete to Easter Island flights. (The other direction - Santiago, Chile to Easter Island is straight forward.) I have found one site that claims there are two flights per week, whereas LP says one flight - but days of the week are mysteriously not mentioned.

So, the question to those in the know - which day (s) of the week do flights leave Papeete,Tahit to Easter Island, Chile?

I am thinking of a one-way flight, as from Easter Island, I plan on traveling on to Santiago,Chile - from where I intend to gradually make my way home to Vancouver (likely via Los Angeles). Anyone any experience with this itinerary?

The flight from Papeete to Easter Island is usually on Tuesdays but you need to confirm if that's true on your travel dates (use the booking feature of the web of LAN to make it).
