Hi There....I have my wedding in January end and I have always dreamt of having my honeymoon in French Polynesia! Sadly, I did a little bit of reading and I am finding out that its not the greatest of climate to visit that part of world in first week of February!
I was wondering if few of you could share there experience/knowledge regarding the climate in February in French Polynesia....it would be a tremendous help! :) Also, what are the 2 best islands for honeymooners there?
Thanks in advance! :)

A site that I use to check on the weather in places I want to visit is www.wunderground.com. They have a feature where you can put in the dates you are interested in and they will show you what the weather was like going back quite a number of years. Depending on where it is, you might get an hourly forecast. Quite often I have seen the forecast is for thunderstorms but when I check it out I can see that it rained for a couple of hours only at night or I might see that it rained all day. What the weather was like for the past 5 years will not guarantee what it will be like but will give you a historical look so you can decide if you want to chance that time of the year.

Most honeymooners opt for Moorea and Bora Bora - we liked Huahine more than Moorea and Bora Bora was our favorite. But we were not honeymooners - just celebrating our 40th anniversary.

I visited FP for the whole month of March a couple of years ago. Sure thats not February but I remember the weather was good overall. Maybe four days were mostly rainy and another 5-6 sunny with no rain at all. The rest was pretty much sunny till late afternoon and then some rain or thunderstorms in the evening/ night. Maybe that helps...
No idea about honeymooning, but I had a Air Tahiti Pass that allowed me to visit several islands - depending how much time you have.
