Resort with overwater bungalows and ON-SITE snorkeling??

In the past, we’ve enjoyed stays at the Hilton Bora Bora and the Hilton Moorea. We enjoyed both resorts, and found the snorkeling on site at each to be varied and interesting.

We’re returning again, and would like variety and adventure of trying something different.

We’re specifically looking for---

A full amenities resort, with over-water bungalows.

Interesting on-site snorkeling. This is the critical question. One can usually judge the quality of the accommodation and resort……the snorkeling must be experienced.

We snorkel daily, our main activity. Occasionally we take a snorkeling excursion, but we mostly prefer snorkeling right in the area of the resort. We like the independence of starting when we like, snorkeling as long as we please, taking a break for lunch, etc. No matter how nice the resort, if the snorkeling is limited, it won’t suit.

We have very similar requirements to yourselves regarding snorkeling. We have stayed at both the Sofitels on BoraBora and Moorea and neither had exceptional snorkeling off the beach.
