| pago20:23 UTC16 Mar 2007 | Just returned from five days in PPT. 12 hours from JFK on TN. The Airbus is ok, but no controls for air vents, so it's either too hot or too cold. The open bar helps. The beach road is six lanes of heavy traffic! The PPT and Moorea harbors are clean. The Islands are beautiful and clean. Never saw any straving dogs, just well fed pets. Everything is very $$$$$. It appears that the French have taken "Polynesia" out of French Polynesia; never saw any lava lavas, puletasis etc. No graves in the front yards. The French did introduce: mini-micro skirts/bra less/top less and wine. Not bad I guess. Everything is very $$$$$. The aiga buses of Samoa are much more colorful. And as they say...."Samoa Is The Heart of Ploynesia"....

Are you refering to the road that runs alongside the harbor in Papeete? (Boulevard Pomare)
